New Line Theatre is looking for a new technical director for the coming season. Duties include attending production meetings, acquiring materials and fabricating the set; hanging and focusing the light plot; coordinating with scenic, lighting, costume, and sound designers; hiring help for load-in and strike of set and lights; overseeing load-in and strike; and overseeing the repositioning of audience risers, if required.
The job pays $800 for each production. New Line will produce three shows this season, American Idiot in Sept./Oct.; Rocky Horror in March, and Rent in June.
